Development of creativity, discipline and technique are an
integral part of ballet training and are encouraged and explored
through the many ballet classes offered from pre-primary to
advance.Curriculum based on the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, and is
complemented by internationally recognized training methods students
are working
towards R.A.D. examinations in a non-competitive dance school that
works towards making each student a greater individual.
At higher levels ballet includes more classes per week and incorporates
other forms of dance as Free Movement, Character, National, Modern,
Contemporary Musical-Theatre. Classes culminate with a year-end show
production with the participation of all the students.
Pre-primary (age 5): This class prepares students for a
presentation in front of a R.A.D. examiner.
Primary (age 6):
This class includes preparation for R.A.D. examination.
Graded levels I to VIII:
This classes includes 3 different components: classical, free movement
and character dance.
These levels requires two classes per week as preparation for
examination.
Vocational graded levels:
For those seeking more challenging work towards a deeper understanding
of classical ballet towards professional career. Classes include
pointe work
